Finals Day 2020 Winners & Runner Ups - 20th September

Here are the finalists from Sunday 20th September 2020 Finals Day.
The winner of the Captains Prize Mark Durrant, and runner up was James Landerkin.

Winners of The Riordan Trophy was Nas Sharif and Andrew Buntin, runners up John Elliott and Steve Gouge.

Winner of the Ladies Parker Cup was Tracy Lawrence and runner up was Shanita Kara.

Captains plate winner was Jim Gallagher and runner up was John Hayes.

Thanks to the referees, Neil Glover, Ian Grant, Maggie Smith, Jack Bulley and Nigel Smith.

Everyone respected the COVID-19 restrictions, and hopefully next year we can have a full compliment of finals.

Police Cup Winner 2020 - Saturday 19th September

Well done to one of our Club Directors Mark Bishop for winning the Police Cup 2020 this Saturday, with a nett 65! This is one of our boarded competitions so Mark's name will be added to the board in our new clubhouse Well Done Mark!

Millennium Cup Winners 2020 - 13th September

Well done to Father and Son Ken and Robert Austin on winning the Millennium Cup 2020 on Sunday 13th September, with a nett 58! This is one of our boarded competitions so Ken & Robert's name will be added to the board in our new clubhouse Well Done!!

Robert Brown Cup 2020 Winner - 30th August

Well done to new member Martin McAndrew for winning the Robert Brown Cup 2020 this Sunday, with a nett 61! This is one of our boarded competitions so Andrew's name will be added to the board in our new clubhouse

Martin joined our club in June, and has been a regular player in the Sunday competitions

Hospital Cup Winners - 31st August

Fabulous turn our for our 1st mixed competition of the year due to COVID-19, The Hospital Cup winners were Father & Daughter Bal and Shanita Kara with 48 points!!

Captains Prize Finalist - 31st August

Congratulations to James Landerkin who has won against Patrick Byrne Jnr. in the Captains Prize. James successfully knocked Patrick out of the competition down the 18th in a very close game.

Sunday Medal 2020 Winner - 30th August

Well done to Robert Lucy who won the Sunday Medal on 30th August with a nett 61!

Square Peg knockout Doubles - 30th August

Congratulations to our members Jeff Geddes (left) and Jeff Ball (right)! On Sunday 30th August they played in the 3rd round of the Square Peg Knockout Doubles and won their match on the 17th hole against 2 members of Muswell Hill.

Burdick Putter - 19th July 2020

Congratulations to Sachin Vanmari who scored a nett 60 to win the Burdick Putter on Sunday 19th July. Sachin is new member and playing in all the club competitions, the Burdick Putter is one of our major competitions during the year, so Sachin will get his name on the board, well played Sachin.

Captain's Qualifier - 21st June 2020

Well done to everyone that played in the Captain's Qualifier on Sunday 21st June. The winner of the day was new member Robert Lucy with a nett 61! Well played Robert.

Bridge Repairs 5th & 13th Hole's

Bridge Repairs Taking Place

Over the next few weeks we are replacing the timbers on the 13th bridge and 5th bridge.
Please be careful when playing shots over.

A BIG thank you to the bridge repair team made up of 11 members and directors volunteering their spare time.

The bridge on the 13th hole will be closed for further works on Tuesday 21st July.
The bridge on the 5th hole will be closed until further notice.

Please use the bridge for the 2nd hole, but please make sure you are paying attention to players teeing off from the 1st and 2nd tee's.

Restoring the Greens

A quick update on our greens. Our head Greenkeeper and his team are working hard on restoring the greens over the next few weeks to bring them back to the usual great standards.
Please be mindful when playing, Greenkeepers will have right away.
